The hardest part about Winter (aside from the cold temps and that four-letter-word: SNOW) is that my flowers are all sleeping. *sigh* I love spending time in our gardens listening to the sweet songs of the birds and bright flashes of the butterflies and dragonflies.
So until Winter is over, I’ll leave you with some of my favorite garden pics. The pictures of the Great-Spangled Fritterlary Butterflies drinking from our Purple Coneflowers, and the Black Swallowtail and Yellow Swallowtail Butterflies drinking from our Butterfly Bushes are from 2015, during what Casey would call “the Butterfly Hour.”
Every time I see these pictures, I think of you, Casey, and miss you so much, but I know there are butterflies in Heaven kissing your cheek and dancing in the breeze just to make you smile.
