Impersonated…again…
UPDATE: The account @CHAdmirand005 is still live. It has been reported on my behalf, but so far it’s still live!
NOTE from me ~ Dear Readers, Friends & Reviewers:
I received an email and screenshot via my website from a concerned person asking if @CHAdmirand005 was me. It is not. I closed my account a year or so ago. @CHAdmirand005 (whoever this is) is using my name, image, and reputation as a published author in the industry for 32 years. THIS IS NOT ME!
I will never ask you for personal information it is unprofessional and something I would never do. I would never ask you for money or to send me money. PERIOD!

I’ve been hacked on my social media accounts in the past–more than once, on more than one account. A year or two ago, our daughter discovered someone opened an account on Instagram using my picture from my account! She reported it for me, and I haven’t had the issue on IG since then.
BUT yesterday I received a contact through my website with screen shots of someone impersonating me on X! I no longer have an X account and haven’t for a year or so. Thankfully, our youngest son reported it for me!
I’m not sure how many posts this imposter has uploaded to X, and no idea what the content might be except for unauthorized use of my pub photo, book covers and graphics.
I have updated my publicity photo everywhere, not sure if it’ll make a difference until I can figure out how to add a watermark to my pub photos and I guess all of the other graphics and images I share.
This takes a big chunk out of my writing time as I’m struggling to write the final chapters of the last book in my Sixteen book mega-series for my publisher: The Duke’s Blade (The Duke’s Guard, Book 16).
